Intellian's Flat Panel Series is a portfolio of active electronically scanned array (ESA) user terminals for Land, Maritime, Mobility and Military customers. First to market is the OW11FL, debuting in Q4 2023. Designed for land use on OneWeb’s LEO network, the OW11FL delivers reliable high-speed broadband for enterprise applications.
Active Electronically Scanned Array (ESA)
Here at Intellian, our Flat Panel Series are proven, mass-market active electronically scanned arrays (AESA). Other flat panels in the market are passive electronically scanned array (PESA) utilizing obsolete and constrained liquid crystal display (LCD) production technology that has not seen significant improvement in capabilities in over a decade.
AESA Technology
Our AESA Flat Panel Series user terminals (UT) all have the ability to rapidly steer and shape the thousands (Pro UT) or hundreds (Compact UT) of antenna elements to create RF compliant beams electronically. The precise control over the direction, shape, and characteristics of the antenna beams is achieved using our bespoke vector-amplifier phased array chipset.
Optimized Performance
Purpose-built for customers with demanding data consumption and service level agreements, the OW11FL is the highest performing ESA flat panel, with the highest link margin across OneWeb’s network.
Seamless Handovers
The OW11FL is comprised of a single fully integrated outdoor unit and a WiFi enabled indoor unit. The innovative flat panel technology facilitates smooth reliable handovers, which ensure seamless and undisrupted connectivity.
One Person Installation
Weighing only 16 kg, the OW11FL is a sleek design that can be easily installed by one person.
Automated Commissioning
Thanks to one-touch commissioning, it takes only four minutes from powering on to being online. The automatic tilt compensation minimizes site revisits.
